1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by a website. They are widely used to make websites work properly, remember your preferences, and provide information to website owners. WebToolsDen uses browser localStorage (a similar technology) rather than traditional HTTP cookies for storing your preferences.
2. How We Use Storage
We store one item in your browser's localStorage: your selected language preference (key: "webtoolsden-lang"). This allows the site to display in your chosen language when you return. This data stays entirely on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.
3. What We Do NOT Use
WebToolsDen does not use invasive tracking such as session recording tools, fingerprinting technologies, or social media tracking pixels. We aim to keep data collection minimal.
4. Third-Party CDN Requests
Some tools load JavaScript libraries from third-party CDNs (Cloudflare, unpkg). These CDN requests may result in standard web server logs (IP address, timestamp, resource requested) on the CDN provider's side. WebToolsDen does not control CDN logging. These are not cookies but standard HTTP requests inherent to loading web content.
5. How to Clear Your Preferences
You can clear your stored language preference at any time by opening your browser's developer tools (F12), going to Application → Local Storage, finding webtoolsden.com, and deleting the "webtoolsden-lang" entry. Alternatively, clearing your browser's site data for webtoolsden.com will remove all stored preferences.
6. Your Consent
By using WebToolsDen, you consent to the use of cookies as described in this policy. If you are in a jurisdiction with stricter requirements, you may need to provide explicit consent.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected with a new "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of WebToolsDen after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
8. Contact
